As California moves toward more equitable policies in response to unrest experienced across the country, it’s important for CPF to be on the side of certain change. This will ensure that we have a seat at the table once the proposal becomes law. Proposition 16 will allow for equal opportunity in workplace recruitment while maintaining prohibitions on quotas.

CPF’s seat at the table will ensure that recruitment and training standards will remain the same and that anyone who wants to become a firefighter must meet those standards, without exception.
